The Dr. Poix legacy for pneumology research

In 1952, Doctor Gaston Poix made a bequest to the Medicine faculty of Paris in order to support researchers in the field of phtisiology and pneumology.

The chancellerie des universités de Paris allocate grants to research universities laboratories in Île-de-France, to the Institut Pasteur, Institut Curie or Gustave Roussy.

These subsidies aim at:

  • promoting the rise of researchers in pneumology and phtisiology-pneumology,
  • encouraging cooperation between researches teams,
  • developing works with teams research working in several disciplines.

The jury, made of pneumology experts, is chaired by the vice chancellor of the universities of Paris, together with a scientific Vice President.
